<p>As the <strong>Lead Developer</strong>, I was instrumental in <strong>crafting</strong> the <strong>architecture</strong> and <strong>driving the development</strong> of <a href="http://Carpaccio.Cloud" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank">Carpaccio.Cloud</a>, a medical analysis solution. This assignment required me to manage an offshore team of three DevOps and work in collaboration with an in-house Data Scientist from the Carpaccio team for the beta launch of their platform. Carpaccio has been implemented in projects for CNRS and US clients, among others.</p><p></p><p>Carpaccio is a revolutionary platform designed to streamline and enhance an otherwise tedious and challenging process in neuromuscular research - acquiring data on the number, size, type, and physiological state of muscle fibers from microscopic images. This is achieved through image analysis software provided as an online service. The platform caters to a broad spectrum of diseases including genetic, autoimmune, metabolic diseases, and cancers. Plans are in place to diversify into other fields and tissues where a similar approach can be benefitted.</p><p></p><p>As part of the project, I worked on constructing the frontend using <strong>React</strong> + <strong>ViteJS</strong>, and the backend with <strong>NodeJS</strong> + <strong>Fastify</strong>. I also commissioned a scalable architecture and infrastructure on <strong>AWS</strong>, leveraging <strong>Fargate</strong> for analysis modules. </p><p></p><p>Skillfully utilizing a wide spectrum of technologies and tools – React.js, Node.js, SVG, Fargate, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS), Bash, Docker, and AWS Lambda – I was able to successfully<strong> bring Carpaccio to fruition from scratch.</strong></p><div class="image-container"><div class="image-row-wrapper"><div class="image-wrapper"><img src="https://cdn.collective.work/clnvznwnh0hy379epgp9b67iw.png"><div class="image-overlay"></div></div></div></div><video-component src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/XJMkBYM_1xo"></video-component>

Carpaccio.cloud - Medical & research analysis SAAS

<p><a href="https://www.lace.io" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank"><strong>LACE</strong></a>, the light wallet platform from Input Output Global, one of the creators of <strong>Cardano</strong>, entrusted Florian and a small team of seasoned freelancers with the task of integrating Trading functionality into LACE Wallet.</p><p></p><p>This complex project, demanding a robust understanding of blockchain and related technologies, was accomplished within seven months.</p><p></p><p>From an initial solution proposal, Florian, alongside an IOHK Lead Developer and a solution architect, and their team of six, built the solution from the ground up. This involved creating a NodeJS back end, incorporating Redis and an in-house code to observe transactions and the blockchain, and developing a frontend application. <p><strong>Yomoni</strong>, the sole fully online portfolio management firm specializing in ETFs authorized by France's Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), aims to grow savings by providing an easy-to-use, customized savings offering with among the market's lowest fees.</p><p>Their advisors are there to guide you through all your investment ventures.</p><p></p><p>The prime goal of this project was creating a subscription solution from scratch to enable corporate customers to invest with Yomoni.</p><p></p><p>A front-end interface devoted to corporate (legal entities) subscriptions and the necessary alterations in the customer portal were developed, with the feature going live in summer 2022.</p><p></p><p>Moreover, a distinctive Node module was crafted to run investment simulations and computations, intended for use throughout Yomoni's codebase.</p><div class="image-container"><div class="image-row-wrapper"><div class="image-wrapper"><img src="https://cdn.collective.work/cln370mud01jt78fmajtw0j8a.webp"><div class="image-overlay"></div></div></div></div><div class="image-container"><div class="image-row-wrapper"><div class="image-wrapper"><img src="https://cdn.collective.work/cln370eop01jp78fm8259bw3k.webp"><div class="image-overlay"></div></div></div></div>

YOMONI - Developing a new subscriber portal for corporate investments

<p>In a major project initiated by the French Public Bank of Investment, involving 50-100 people to revamp its existing online bank, I (Hugo) was entrusted with leading several key areas. </p><p></p><p>These included: </p><p></p><ul><li><p>Integrating a new design system into the customer portal (as shown in the picture), </p></li><li><p>Implementing new forms to facilitate customers in their fund request process,</p></li><li><p>Overseeing an already live application (both front-end and back-end) for bank employees</p></li></ul><p></p><p>In addition, I actively contributed to various other project aspects, collaborating with the team on customer and employee portals, shared libraries (previous design system), and more, on both the frontend and backend side.</p><div class="image-container"><div class="image-row-wrapper"><div class="image-wrapper"><img src="https://cdn.collective.work/clmrl25gu0t3t70fa89a07yxt.png"><div class="image-overlay"></div></div></div></div>

<p>As a Lead Developer in React Native, I was involved in the project of <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/posts/billappli_bill-bill-digital-activity-6970353055183601664-x9gc?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=member_desktop" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank"><strong>Bill App</strong></a>, a company that is creating a flexible range of applications for the restaurant industry. </p><p></p><p>The development involved building a dedicated <strong>order-taking app</strong> for the restaurant staff. This app supports order placement, accommodates various options, manages loyalty benefits via QR codes, and delivers real-time information through Socket. </p><p></p><p>The app was designed for large tablets in the kitchen side of the restaurant and is also responsive to be able to be used on the go on smaller 8" tablets. </p><p></p><p>I spearheaded the development of a React Native application for in-dining order-taking (staff app). This role also encompassed managing an offshore team of React Native developers <strong>working on other applications</strong>. <p>Dans le cadre de mon rôle de <strong>DevOps</strong> et de <strong>développeur Full-stack</strong> pour Soundsuit, une plateforme qui facilite l'intégration de musique premium et légale pour le B2B, j'apporte une contribution significative en tant que membre de leur équipe de freelances "permanente". </p><p>Parmi les clients prestigieux de Soundsuit figurent <strong>BoConcept</strong>, <strong>Best Western</strong>, Izipizi, <strong>Nestlé</strong>, Mercedes-Benz, <strong>LVMH</strong>, Accor Hotels, <strong>Porsche</strong>, Moët &amp; Chandon, Puma, ainsi que de nombreuses PME.</p><p></p><p>Mon expertise a été sollicitée pour l'optimisation des pipelines <strong>CI/CD</strong> et du Monitoring, ainsi que pour l'optimisation des coûts AWS. J'ai participé activement au développement back-end et front-end sur les différents services de Soundsuit.</p><p></p><p>J'ai aussi assumé le rôle de <strong>responsable/lead dev</strong> pour la création d'un nouveau produit à destination des vendeurs en Asie-Pacifique.
